Field Directions

The field is 1/8 of a mile north of the intersection of Ringwood Rd and Pioneer Rd.

From McHenry, IL, take Hwy 31 North to Ringwood Rd. Turn right.

Continue to Pioneer Rd. Turn left.

Look for a blue house on the left.

The entrance to the field is just past the blue house.

COL Eagles 2009 Air Show
The Chain O Lakes Eagles RC Club, a McHenry County Radio Control Airplane Club, for more than 25 years invites the public to our Third Annual Chain O Lakes Eagles RC Air-show.

The club would like to share the hobby with others, entertain the public, and give interested persons a chance to fly a plane. RC aircraft of all sizes, shapes, and designs will be on display and aerobatics demonstrations are scheduled throughout the day.
The event is at the club field at 5603 Pioneer Road in Ringwood on July 25 opening at 8:00 A.M. and ending at 3:00 P.M.

The event is open to the public at no charge.

We are a non-profit social club to get together a group of local people with a common interest in building and flying model aircraft. We assist new members to the hobby by helping with building and we offer instructional programs to get their planes in the air in a safe and responsible way. The types of planes include gas engines, electric motor, sail planes, and helicopters.
